FAQs:
How long does it take to arrive?
– 2 weeks to get built, delivered & installed.
How big should I choose it?
– Call me at 305 5420288 to discuss size. If you are a big guy/girl or want comfort go with the Pinecrest size.
How cold does it get?
– As cold as you want it. I wouldn’t recommend freezing temperatures as ice formations may damage it.
What type of filtration system does it use?
– Uses activated carbon filter. I recommend changing the inner carbon pellets once every 3 months. Comes with one replacement. The filter is always on.
Should I expect the electric bill to go up?
– The freezer uses little energy:
A 14.3cu. Ft. uses around 338kwh of energy per year that is around $48 per year (at FPL rates of $0.14 cents per kwh). The filtration system uses around 175kwh/yr which is around $25 per year. Total energy consumption should not exceed $80 per year.
Can I use chemicals such as chlorine?
– Yes, all our freezers have white enameled coated interiors that tolerate chemicals but you should monitor PH levels if you choose to use chemicals
What does the warranty cover?
– Anything that was built by MiamiPlunge is covered under the 1 year warranty. The refrigeration system it self is not covered but highly unlikely to fail.
